Material study · Silicone
Soft enough to chew. Tough enough to drop.
We chose silicone for the mealtime range because a plate a toddler can bite, throw and put in her mouth again has to be safe to bite, hard to break and quick to clean. Silicone is the material that does all of that without being heavy, and it goes in the dishwasher.
100% food-grade
Every mealtime piece is 100% food-grade silicone, free of BPA, PVC and phthalates. Food-grade on its own isn't a certification, so ask us which standard a piece was tested to and we'll tell you.
Rated from -40°C to 230°C
That range covers the freezer, the dishwasher, the microwave and the oven. The same plate goes from the freezer tray to a warm dinner without a change of container.
Soft on gums, tough on drops
Rounded edges are gentle on new teeth and gums, and the material survives a high-chair drop without chipping or shattering. It bounces. The food doesn't.
Easy to clean
Waterproof and wipeable. Suction bases and catch pockets rinse clean under a tap, or go straight in the dishwasher.
